Byrd, this is a very beautiful and very subtle piece, and from what I heard it seems an accurate reflection of the serene quality of the music. I wish I could see it in person, because I have a feeling that there's so much detail here that gets lost on the screen. That said, the soft quality does work well. Given that most of it is bilaterally symmetric, I wonder if that area at the top might be more symmetric as well. Adding a little more orange and yellow on the upper left might make the whole strike the eye more emphatically. Color-wise, my favorite area is in the top panel where all the colors seem to form one rich unnameable color. That area really glows in a mysterious way. Perhaps adding just a hint of green in some other areas might give those areas a similar glow. Overall, I find this a particularly strong demonstration of the power of watery media, something I hope you'll continue to pursue!
