I really like how you centered all the shapes that had a bit more pencil grain to them. It makes it seem like this is communicating two things at once between the grainy shapes and the more solid background. -Pan
Sidney, you did a great job of slicing up and scrambling/off-setting the objects in your still life. The whole thing looks very Cubist. And I particularly like how you considered the shapes around all the edges and corners -- you have some great shapes happening there. The only thing that bothers me is that the vertical bands on the right tilt to the right -- I want to see those really vertical! Also, you may want to add some small solid black shapes to the central cluster of objects -- the distribution of the darks and lights looks a little awkward there.
The objects look like they are not on a solid ground; I like this approach. But I think the black polygon shape in the middle grabs too much attention. Maybe darken some shadows of the printed cut outs could help.
